Mr. Hassan has significant experience working in the natural resources industry in Africa . In 2009, he sold oil and gas assets to Simba Energy (now Simba Essel Energy) and now advises on their development.

Mr. Hassan was instrumental in focusing the company on oil and gas leases in Africa and played an important part in forming the Board of Directors.

He is primarily responsible for sourcing, negotiating and completing the acquisitions of PSCs, as well as negotiating strategic alliances for the development of PSCs throughout Africa. Mr. Hassan is also an advisor to junior resource exploration companies and assists in business development and asset acquisitions.
